Anyone in production knows that every production company takes their space very seriously. We all work long hours and always have guests floating around that we’d like to impress, so it makes sense. It’s like a home away from home and every detail matters: from the brand of sodas in the fridge to our hold music. In a way, it’s a reflection of our role as producers – no element is too small to give special attention.
When the time came for us to find a new office, we wanted a place that would really give us that extra creative drive; a place that was like “Whoa, this is Los Angeles, and there’s no place else I’d rather be.” And especially a space that would inspire all of our clients and guests the same way.
The new Native office is in the heart of Hollywood, inside 7000 Santa Monica. It’s the same space that was the home to the Radio Recorders Annex, the recording studio that laid down tracks for absolute legends that included Charlie Parker, Jimmie Rodgers, Louis Armstrong, Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa, and The Carpenters. In its prime, the studio was the best recording facility in Los Angeles. From the ‘40s into the late ‘60s, the best engineers, producers and artists would collaborate inside our walls.
So we like to think of it not just as an office, but as a creative space where anyone can visit, do their thing, and feed off the energy of everyone else inside.
Stop by, check out our sodas.
